Here is beautiful Alara with her birthday cake for her sister. Alara has been learning sugarcraft as part of her Duke of Edinburgh training and decorated this cake herself. So far she has learned to bake, crumb coat, buttercream, cover with fondant, dowel and stack tiered cakes, make sugar roses and cupcake toppers and practiced quilting, hand painting and lettering. She made her own toppers for this cake too, I’m very proud of her, well done Alara 😍.

Mad week this week with a 1st, 10th, 21st, 30th and two 60th birthdays, particularly loving Harry Potter, one of my favourite themes 😍😍 – looking forward to a relaxing day today, have a good day everyone. Xx
